  •  High Holidays 2020 Reservations

    You can now reserve for High Holiday services at Chabad. Due to COVID, there are changes in the services and the reservation process.

    1. Attendance is by reservation only.
    2. Services will take place outdoors under a open-sided canopy tent.
    3. Please indicate which services you plan to attend.
    4. All areas will be sanitized between services.
    5. Services will begin at 8:00 am both Rosh Hashana mornings and Yom Kippur morning due to the heat.

  • Rules of Attendance

    1. All attendees are required to wear masks for the duration of services.
    2. Seats will be arranged so that everyone is seated at least six feet from each other. Please only sit in the designated places. (Exceptions made for members of the same household).
    3. If you suspect that you have been ill with COVID-19 or have recently been in contact with someone who has, you are not permitted to attend services.
    4. Do not attend against the advice of your physician, if you are immuno-compromised, in any risk group, or if you have any symptoms of sickness.
    5. If within 10 days of attending services you experience any COVID symptoms, you will immediately notify us.
    6. These rules may be modified if the COVID situation and/or the local health regulations change.

  • Length of High Holiday Services

    YOM KIPPUR
    1. Kol Nidrei and Maariv - approx. 2 hours
    2.  Shacharit, morning prayer ; approx. 90 minutes
    3. Torah Reading,  approx. 30 minutes
    4. Sermon & Yizkor  approx. 40 minutes
    5. Musaf, 2nd prayer service ; approx. 75 minutes
    6. Mincha prayer service ; approx. 1 hour
    7. Neilah final service ; approx. 1 hour 

  • Donations

    Chabad of Pasadena has never charged for membership and/or High Holiday seats.We encourage you to make a contribution to help us cover the regular and increased costs of High Holiday services in addition to helping support Chabad in all of its communal activities.
